Rules
Member Any past member of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (“RBDF”) and any person who served in the Navy of a British Commonwealth Nation provided that such Member or person shall have served in the RBDF or other Navy for a period of six (6) months (or less if disabled) and was honourably discharged.

The RBDFVA Chat was created for the following; among others:
1. For all registered members of the association.
2. To inform members of Illness, hospitalization or passing of fellow shipmates and their families.
3. To sensitize members about the needs of fellow Shipmates.
4. To inform members of positive achievements by fellow shipmates and their families.
5. To inform members of employment opportunities and business ventures.
6. To socialize with fellow shipmates in a RESPECTABLE manner.
7. To inform members of meetings, events and activities of the Association, The Warrant Officers & Senior Rates Mess and The Royal Bahamas Defence Force.
The following are unacceptable:
1. All recordings, videos associated with a political party and campaign literature.
2. All defamatory, vulgar, profane and sexual material.
3. Personal attacks on any member; either verbal or written.
NOTES:
1. When in doubt; please refer to paragraphs one (1) through seven (7) under chat creation.
2. Failure to comply; will result in expulsion from the Chat.
