Becoming a member of the RBDFVA
Membership in the Association shall be All past, present members of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force and its Reserve, and any person who served in the British Commonwealth Forces of a nation shall be eligible for Full Membership; provided that such members and persons shall have served in Defence Force or other Military Force for not less than six months, or were honourably discharged disabled having served a shorter period”.

- Retired RBDF Military Service
- Honorable Discharge
- Any Rank
- Voting, Office bearing
ASSOCIATE
Associate membership may be granted to individuals who, in the opinion of a majority of Board, have materially assisted the Association in its objectives.
- Voting, Non office-bearing
- Members of RAFA/ British Legion/Ex-services
- All Serving members of military in country
- Any serving person of any Force attached to military in country
- Senior Civil Servants (as appropriate)
HONORARY
Honorary membership may be granted to those individuals who, in the opinion of a majority of the Board, placed their services at disposal of the Association.
- Non- paying, Non- voting, Non Office-bearing
- RBDF Members resigned/Honorably Discharge from Force
- Ex- commonwealth and U.S. service personnel living in country.
